Top-left: A nun is peering out of the upper storey window, seeing the trees bending.
Centre: St Irene, wearing her monastic attire and holding three apples, depicted in the posture she used for prayer through almost all of her monastic life.
Centre-Top: An angel with a scroll, referring to the glorification of St Irene after her death.
Right: Trees bent towards St Irene, with handkerchiefs on the top. It was these handkerchiefs that led to the nun (see top-left) to believe that her seeing the trees bending was real, and not just a dream or vision.
