Summary

А miniature from the Louvre MS. Ivoires 100 manuscript, depicting the Byzantine emperor Manuel II Palaiologos (1391-1425), empress Helena Dragaš (Saint Ipomoni of Loutraki), and three of their sons - the co-emperor John VIII Palaiologos (1425-1448) and the Despots Theodore II Palaiologos, Lord of Morea (1407-1443) and Andronikos Palaiologos, Lord of Thessalonica (1408-1423). (End 14th c.).
