Summary

This icon card was sent to my wife, Lydia, shortly after she was born by her great uncle who had gone to St Panteleimon Monastery at Mount Athos to get an education and remained there for the rest of his life. The text on the back of the icon which is a description of Martyr Lydia's life noted an approval for distribution signed on July 18, 1903 by Archimandrite Methodius, St Petersburg Ecclesiastical Censorship Committee.
