Summary

The Church of the Holy Apostles was built by Saint Constantine the Great and rebuilt by Saint Justinian the Great. It was one of the largest basilicas in Constantinople until it was left into ruins by the Latins in the Siege of Constantinople (1204). During the Ottoman period, it was rebuilt into a mosque.
