The [[w:Chersonesus Cathedral|Saint Vladimir Cathedral]] in [[w:Chersonesus Taurica|ChVersonesusChersonesus]], built in the 19th century in the [[orthodoxwiki:Neo-Byzantine architecture|Byzantine Revival style]].<br><br>It commemorates the presumed place of [[orthodoxwiki:Vladimir of Kiev|St. Vladimir]]'s baptism. The grand laying of the foundation stone of the Church in honor of Saint Vladimir took place on August 23 1850.
