Identification

It appears that this icon may have been misidentified on the originating (source) website, as "Constantine of Strathclyde"; however: 1) the scenes in the icon show a martyrdom; and 2) the Scottish traditions of the life of St Constantine of Cornwall say that he founded the monastery at Govan. Therefore, bowing to the weight of tradition, and the fact that this icon relates to the martyr, therefore this icon must be of St Corstantine of Cornwall. Angellight 888 20:47, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
